Restoring Honor: Thousands Rally in Bradford & Washington Over Islam

Thousands of activists have taken to the streets today, across both the UK and the US, to make a stand against the perceived threat of Islam.

The two rallies may be officially unrelated, but share a very similar cause: to fight against the influence of the Islamic faith.

Gay activist and blogger Joe Jervis succinctly captured the animosity currently felt towards Mehlman, writing

“Gee thanks…That’s like offering to help rebuild a house when YOU were the f***er that helped BURN IT DOWN.”

Further shocking revelations have been brought forward today by the Daily Telegraph against several senior politicians who have been claiming for accountants as expenses using taxpayer’s money.

Alistair Darling, Jacqui Smith, Hazel Blears, David Miliband, and James Purnell have been named among those claiming for private accounting advice, although Darling has defended his actions, saying he used the accountant to ensure that he was paying the correct taxes and not take advantage of the system.

Labour sources have again reiterated that such claims are within the rules. Both Darling and his eyebrows deny any wrongdoing.
